Call for Workshop
Welcome to TICEC 2024, the premier international conference dedicated to advancing the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This year’s event will bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and academics to explore the latest innovations, share cutting-edge research, and discuss ICT’s practical challenges and future directions.
Join us with workshop proposals in Loja, Ecuador, from October 16-18, 2024, to drive forward the frontiers of technology and innovation. We invite submissions for workshops at TICEC 2024, designed to deliver intensive, high-value sessions on cutting-edge topics to the research community. These workshops are pivotal in fostering a highly collaborative environment, encouraging networking and knowledge exchange among researchers from around the globe.
Workshops will encompass the presentation of scientific papers alongside theoretical and practical activities pertinent to the conference’s focus areas. This platform offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage in deep discussions, share innovative ideas, and tackle practical challenges in the realm of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Prepare your proposal
• Format Requirement: Submissions are accepted in PDF format only.
• Proposal form: Use the provided template to complete your proposal. Fill in all the fields and include all the relevant information about your proposal.
• Submit: Send your PDF proposal to the conference email ticec@cedia.org.ec with the subject CALL FOR WORKSHOPS.
Each proposal will be evaluated by at least three regular members of the Program Committee or two senior members of the Steering Committee. Proposals will be judged on:
• Originality: Is the workshop related to the conference’s topics and provides relevant new insights to the attendees?
• Engagement: The agenda for the workshop includes an attractive list of activities for the attendees.
• Significance: The call for papers is relevant for the Workshop and the conference general Track.
• Quality: The workshop team has a relevant presence in the field of study.
• Clarity: The proposal has realistic activities and objectives.
• Relevance: Directly addresses one or more of the conference’s themes.
• Commitment: The workshop team is committed to carrying on the mentioned workshop inside the TICEC 2024.
• Authorship: The workshop will use the same graphic design for its publicity and calls.
• Registration Policy: Registration for the conference includes participating in the workshops.
• Publication Rule: The call for papers must provide high-quality proceedings to publish the accepted articles of the participants.
