Registration

To allow a broad range of participants to present, we require each co-authored paper to be associated with a unique conference registrant. Nevertheless, co-authors are welcome to contribute to several papers.

Publication and Proceedings Requirements

To ensure your paper is included in the TICEC 2024 Proceedings, at least one author must register per accepted paper.

Registration Details

• Register using your institutional email address, which will be used for all event communications, including the delivery of your reservation confirmation and participation certificate.

• Ensure that you complete your registration by September 17th to secure your publication.

Scientific Track

The proceedings from TICEC 2024 will have the honor of being published in the prestigious Springer series “Communications in Computer and Information Science” (CCIS). This inclusion ensures that the contributions will be indexed in several high-profile databases and indexing services, including DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago, and Scopus, offering extensive visibility and recognition in the academic community. Furthermore, CCIS volumes are submitted for consideration to be included in ISI Proceedings, which could further enhance the reach and citation of the work presented at the conference.

Treatment of personal data

The owner of the personal data provided in this form is informed that the Ecuadorian Research and Academy Development Corporation (CEDIA), with RUC 0992284269001 and domicile in Gonzalo Cordero 2-122 and J. Fajardo Cuenca-Ecuador and e-mail contact address proteccioondedados@cedia.org.ec, is the entity responsible for the processing of your personal data through automated and non-automated information systems, such as email servers, computer applications, and paper documentation, among others, whose purpose, among other things, is the management of your registration in the training requested by you and that CEDIA makes available to you.

The management of your registration includes the processing of your data to fill out the registration form for the event, to specify the corresponding payment, and for the issuance of the electronic receipt (factura).

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the performance of the contractual relationship to which you are a party and the fulfillment of a legal obligation in relation to tax matters.

Your data may also be used to send you personalized commercial information by any means that may be of interest to you. The processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with the privacy policies of each institution.

The legal basis for sending commercial communications is the consent freely requested and granted to you. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties other than those indicated, except where there is a legal obligation to do so, and will be kept by CEDIA as long as the academic and/or commercial relationship is established, you do not withdraw your consent, or for the years necessary to comply with the legal obligations. During the event, recordings could be made and photographs captured, so that CEDIA can subsequently publish them on its website or on its social media profiles in order to promote the activities developed at the event and the services they provide.

The legal basis for this processing is also the consent you may give or refuse at the time of registration.

The processing of data could involve an international transfer of data, as corporate tools could be used whose servers are hosted outside Ecuador. However, such international data transfers have all the security guarantees and protection shields, among other measures. Such international transfers will also be supported by the legal instrument to be established in the future by the Ecuadorian Data Protection Supervisory Authority.

The owner may exercise his rights of access, rectification and update, deletion, opposition, or, where legally applicable, portability by sending a request to the electronic and physical addresses referred to above.
